About
A convening, not a conference.
The Shahdag Economic Summit was founded on a simple conviction: that the hardest problems in the global economy are solved by a small number of people who trust one another enough to speak plainly.
Where most forums optimize for scale and spectacle, the Summit optimizes for substance. Attendance is capped, sessions are intimate, and the agenda is built around the questions that will not resolve themselves.
Hosted in the neutral setting of the Azerbaijani mountains, the Summit sits deliberately between the economic blocs of East and West — a place where dialogue can happen without a home-field advantage.
How we convene
By request
Every place is reviewed. We convene principals, not audiences.
On substance
No sponsored stages, no product launches. The agenda leads.
Off the record
Roundtables run under the Chatham House Rule so candor is possible.
In balance
A neutral setting between blocs, hosting every perspective equally.
Organized by
The Summit is convened by an independent secretariat in cooperation with regional and international partners.
